Future plans
The objectives of the Char Allergy are structured into 4 sections:
1. RESEARCH
The development of research in Allergy and Clinical Immunology is a priority objective of the Chair of Allergy of the UMH and it will focus on:
a) Collaboration with the network of research RIRAAF (RD 12/013/17)
b) Development of projects:
1.Study of the influence of the biological pollutants (pollen and spores, and their molecular allergens) and non-biological in the increase in allergic diseases. Project granted by the SEAIC Foundation. IP: Javier Fernández. IC: Aerobiology Committee of the SEAIC. Quantity: 12.075€.
2. Usefulness of the Nasal Provocation Test in the diagnosis of allergic local rhinitis. Project granted by the SEAIC Foundation. IP is Víctor Soriano Gómis. Quantity: 2.950€.
c) New lines: Cohort study of asthmatics.
2. TEACHING
Teaching is also a priority of the Chair of Allergy of the UMH, with two main axes:
a) Finish the book of Allergy: BASIC ALLERGY, for the Medicine degree and maintenance of the platform’s update of the same over 4 years.
b) Teaching support of postgraduates through sponsorship for the realization of the Master’s degree in Research in Clinical Medicine.
c) Support of continued training and promoting initiatives in the SEAIC and the AVAIC formation
3. SUPPORT
a) Sponsorship for the realization of the Master’s degree in Research in Clinical Medicine at UMH.
b) Advice for the improvement of Allergology and Clinical Immunology teaching in universities and national and international educational centres
4. NEW PROJECTS
Development of new technologies for the promotion of the work of the SEAIC members.
